Eight weeks ago we planted 90 million Vidalia onion seeds and now they’re ready for transplant to their final resting place for the season. This week’s crop report gives you an intimate look into the transplanting process and shows the great care that goes into planting each and every onion BY HAND. We’ve been mowing the crop regularly so that we can ensure the plant focuses all its energy on growing a healthy bulb that can survive the transplanting process.
